JAZZZZZZ

Jazzzz

Finally got my little yellow Honda
Jazz. The dealer and the agents were giving very different version of
story on the reasons for delayed delivery. Someone must be lying.
People in business world can really bullshit, and they don’t think
twice before bullshiting.

Anyway, the little Jazz is a bliss to
drive. 1.5L Constant variable transmission is smooth, and there is no
gear changes. Parking and handling was also easy. Really feel at home
the first time I step foot into the car.

Yellow… Initially chose yellow colour
just being rebellious, wanted something not that ordinary. Silver is
too boring, black just get dirty too easily. So decided to try the
yellow. It actually do look better than i first thought.

The back seats on the Jazz is magic! It
fold down flat with one push of a button. With the back seat folded
flat, the car boot is large and long enough for 2 people lying in it.
Well… you have to be my height.

It is my first new car, it is a new chapter in my attempt to settle in this new country.

Living on the Edge…

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

“If you don’t live on the edge, you
are taking up too much space…” heard that saying on the TV not
too long ago.

Never mind the living on the edge part,
I am really feeling that I am taking up too much space now. Less
hectic job, no cycling to work,  and too many Dim Sum sessions in
Sydney,  I am really taking up too much space. Bought a cheap scale
from Paddy’s market today, and unfortunately, it confirmed my fear.
This is the heaviest me ever…

Something need to be done…

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

20/11/2006. Stupid scale! I later found out that the scale is definitely useless. I don’t feel 80KG. Went to the ward and weight myself, with full gear on, and I still weigth 5kg less. Lesson of the day,  think twice before buying things from Paddy’s market…

Miss opportunity…

If you are not skillful, the bird fly away… That is miss opportunity to most people. Did you see it as a blessing?

Sydney Update 2

Thursday, November 2nd, 2006

Been a while since I last updated my
blog. Life have been interesting, there was a lot of good material
that I wanted to write about; unfortunately, a blog is not a private
diary but something view by public. There is always implication of
what you write, there will never be absolute free speech.

On the lighter note, I have been doing
a few interesting activities over the last few weeks.

Sydney Spring Cycle 2006, was a 50KM
cycle around Sydney. I was told that about 10 000 cyclist
participated. Some roads were closed, and traffic control was quite
good, it was an enjoyable cycle. I got a good cycling partner, Paul,
who actually finish the ride with me. Tanz, just have to remind you
about border trek:P

Last week did the 7 Bridges Walk, a
total of 22km around Sydney. Walking around Scenic Sydney in this
sunny weather accompanied  by pretty girls, what else can you ask for
in life? The muscle pain started to settle in the next morning. But
it was worth all the pain.
